Who can participate?

Anyone, there are prizes for Customer teams such as Customer Success, Onboarding and Enterprise teams speak as well as for the rest of the business. We also have a gift card giveaway running for all qualifying 4.0 star and higher reviews.

What reviews qualify for rewards?

For reviews to be eligible to count towards rewards, they must have an overall rating of 4.0 or higher (out of 5), any review lower than 4.0 will not be included in the totals for any of the rewards.

So, how do I win?

  1. There are two ways you can help generate reviews. Directly reach out (templates available), this is the best way as with your personal relationship people are more likely to leave a review.
  2. Suggest a customer for Marketing to contact, we can include them in our outreach - To suggest a customer, enter their details in the log sheet and set "Review Request Status" to "Suggestion for Marketing to Request". Note, contacting a customer directly is much more likely to result in a successful review!
  3. Once requested or suggested, log the customer’s details in the review log sheet. This sheet will be used to determine giveaways and prizes.

How will I know if my request was successful?

The Customer Marketing team will update the review spreadsheet with any details on the review when a user matching the details you provide submits a review.

When will and how will I get my prizes?

Any prizes you have earned will be paid out following the end of the Hotel Tech Awards which conclude 15th December 2021 PDT.

Does HTR accept reviews from multiple languages?

Yes, HTR accepts reviews in any language.

What channels are acceptable to ask for a review?

Any channel that you are using to interact with customers. We have templates for a request email to help support your outreach.

When do we find out where we have placed in the Hotel Tech Awards Categories?

If we win we will be celebrating but we need to sit tight until after 16th January 2022

Can a customer review more than one product?

Yes they can and we encourage it, If your suggested customer has multiple products they can select to review all products at the same time. Please note the reward will only count per customer that leaves a review. Customers will need to submit seperate reviews for SiteMinder products and Little Hotelier separately if they have both and wish to leave reviews for them.

When do reviews need to be submitted?

You can start requesting reviews now! For a review to count towards our awards rankings and to also be rewarded it needs to be live on Hotel Tech Report website by COB 15th December 2021. Unfortunately if a review was requested  prior to 15th December but goes live on the site after 16th December PDT  it will not be counted.

I don’t have a direct relationship with a customer but I believe they are a good review candidate. How can they be included? 

Please add their details to this spreadsheet and include your reasoning  for why they are a good candidate. We will include them in our next review outreach campaign.
